Whistleblower Guide
Operational Security (OPSEC) Protocol
1. Network & Connection (Zero-Trace)
Never use your personal, office, or home Wi-Fi. Always use a paid No-Log VPN (based outside your jurisdiction) or the Tor Browser before accessing our platform. This prevents local ISPs from monitoring your DNS traffic.
2. Metadata Sanitation (EXIF/GPS)
Although our servers automatically strip metadata from uploaded files, you should manually scrub metadata (GPS location, camera type, timestamps) from documents, photos, or videos before uploading. Use tools like ExifTool or Metadata Scrubber.
3. Identity, Nomenclature & Visibility Protocol
Our system automates your identity generation with tiered privacy features. The rules are:
A. Independent Users (Personal): You have full control over the privacy level of your real name (Fully Hidden, Abbreviate First, Abbreviate Middle, etc.). Example: [J. D. Smith] - Pseudonym - [Tier] [⏳ UNVERIFIED]
B. Unincorporated Communities & Incorporated Institutions: You MUST officially register the real name of the representative. DO NOT WORRY, YOUR REAL NAME CAN BE HIDDEN FROM THE PUBLIC. The real identity will be locked as 🔒 (Members Only) and public nomenclature can be set to your preference (Brand Only, Legal Only, or Both).
*Important Note: All new accounts automatically receive the [⏳ UNVERIFIED] badge. The Blue Tick badge (✔️) is only granted post-manual verification by Consortium Admins.
4. Burner Emails & Cryptography
Use encrypted email services (like ProtonMail or Tuta) created specifically for this operation. Never link personal phone numbers or recovery emails to the burner account. Master the use of PGP Keys if you plan to upload high-tier data.
